I have just bought a domain name. What happens now?

Once you own a Domain Name, it is yours and nobody can take it away from you, or make use of it during your 2-year period of ownership, no matter if you use it or not. If you don't activate it, it will point nowhere, but it will still be yours. If you do wish to activate it and use it, it must be pointed to a URL (web address). You can have web forwarding, whereby when somebody types in the URL they are 'redirected' to another web site, or you can have it pointed to your own Webspace, which we can arrange for you. 

How long can I expect it to take to have my website created?
For a basic site, the time scale is usually between one to four weeks, depending on your content. A more complex site could take from three to six weeks .

How much of the preparation work do I have to do?
You have to decide exactly what you want your website to do for you. You will need to gather the information that is to be included, such as business cards, logo, brochures, pictures etc.
